Hello ! I’m Ellen.

I was born in Europe but came to Sydney, Australia in 1996 due to my husband’s international job assignment and loved the country from the start! We are both Australian citizens now for many years.  

Due to living in different countries that resulted in countless visits from family and friends I have been able to see how much people enjoy seeing places, hearing stories and visiting the sights.  

I started out as a “tourist” myself in many beautiful places and destinations…. 

After many years of tour guiding (Chicago, Sydney for example) and being on first name basis with the penguins at Phillip Island I decided to study tourism. I graduated in 2019 with the Diploma of Tourism so that I can officially guide visitors, in Australia, registered my own business and then work with tourists from all over the world. I want them to fall in love with what Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road and beyond have to offer.  

( - yes – it was unfortunate timing just before Covid hit!) 

  In 2018 my husband and I moved from Melbourne to Warrnambool to retire at 55 and enjoy the sea change.
